I am sitting at Starbucks working with my pal and teaching partner, Hugh McDonald, on our two Professional Development Day presentations that we will be giving this August.  One is called "Introduction to the iPad as an Assessment and Learning Tool".  We thought it would be cool to use a linoit board to gather information from you, our wonderful PLN!  We would love to know what apps you love using with your class and how you use them.  For example, I love "showme" because students can draw, write and speak at the same time about a given topic.

What do you love using?  Please take a moment to click on the link below and add a "stickie note" to my iPad board!  Thank you so much!  I will also be using this linoit to show my group the power of a PLN on twitter!  You guys rock!

Special thanks to Denise Krebs for first introducing me to linoit.com, I learn so much from you, Denise!
What a great web 2.0 tool!

I love using book creator to record my primary students. It is a great way to document oral language. My kids also used it this year with their big buddies to create ebooks on an animal of their choice

Here's my post on your Linoit:

Without a doubt: Explain Everything!

It's a small fee, but a big bang. Use drawing, photos, websites, anything and record slides to explain. Send to Evernote or Dropbox as project or movie; email or send to YouTube. It is simply the best "explain everything" app there is.

Example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DWXrUWOl6i8&feature=relmfu

Website:
http://www.explaineverything.com/features.html

More features and uses than Educreations or ShowMe

@grammasheri

Have fun with your presentation!

I agree with Explain Everything being one of the top apps! Here's a list of good ones and a link to a couple iPad related workshops:

Nice app ! Just a bit confusing graphically - I tend to use google moderator to manage suggestions or questions: www.google.com/moderator/

I use the Confer app - It allows me to take anecdotal notes on student progress (formative assessment) and easily for small groups based on need.
